“ Frankie's is THE place - one of the few places I trust- for raw and cooked shellfish. Fresh from Frankie's armada of fisherman friends. Frankie's is an outdoor dining place but well situated and weather proofed with heaters in colder days and plenty of fans in hotter days with very attentive servers. ”
“ Good food in a laid back environment. Limited daytime hours during the week so make sure you check before you go. We loved the empanadas- especially the special this week which was a Cuban empanada. ”
“ Frankies will fool you if you go by looks. The food is wonderful, fried fish, shrimps and oysters if you like it that way. Smoked fish, last week Amberjack very good. You can bring you own drinks, BYOBB. Service is great!! Chelsea is always on top of things. ”
“ Frankie's Raw Bar is an enigma. At first glance, it looks like a homeless shelter encampment directly off a major six-lane thoroughfare. You would think that it's a must skip, but you would be wrong. Once you park and go inside, it feels as if you're somehow transported to Bali. Everything is decorated with tropical plants and wood carvings. I don't know how he does it, but you cannot hear the road at all. Additionally, the food is delicious. They offer a variety of seafood dishes and Latin American options. We love Frankie's and go as often as we can. Be warned, it's BYOB. But that is definitely not a drawback. Fabulous seafood, and I get to bring my Publix BOGO wine? Yes please! ”
“ A very unique restaurant. Seating is rustic. Service was very good and friendly. We loved the food. My wife had the fried shrimp and fries. Excellent! I had fried lobster tail and jalapeño poppers. The tail is very lightly battered and the poppers were nice and hot. I like that the poppers can be ordered filled with cream cheese or cheddar cheese. I opted for the cheddar and they were great. The lobster tail was tender and tasted excellent. All food was reasonably priced. I don't know how comfortable it would be in a rain storm and the seating area had open sides. Please keep in mind that they have porta -potties. So come prepared. We will definitely return as the food was excellent. ”
“ Food Service Ambiance all top notch. Fresh, delicious, quality and wallet friendly. Authentic, Enthusiastic and Passionate. All demonstrated from the kitchen and staff. Bravo! ”
“ We just moved to this area, and I'm so happy with this place. I loved this restaurant! I loved everything we ordered, fried pickles, Ahi Tuna and the Beef and Cheese Empanadas. What an amazing place! Fresh and delicious food. ”
“ I don't know what New Port Richey's issue is with Frankie's , but they should let a successful businesses continue. That have never disappointed, great food!!! Price maybe higher than others, but quality is there. Support local businesses and enjoy yourself. Very low key atmosphere but services are always great ”
“ Wow....wow.....wow!!! Did I say WOW!!!! So the Mrs and I had this place booked marked for a while now. We wanted oysters so decided to give this place a shot. We didn't know anything beyond they had oysters and 4.5 stars on Yelp. While driving there my wife looked deeper into the place and realized it was outdoor only and BYOB. We dropped into Winn Dixie and picked up some booze in a cooler bag. We were a little nervous. If you're looking for a fancy place to eat this isn't it. If you're looking for a quaint little joint with character and AMAZING food, then you've found it. We are picky for sure and hard to impress but I can say with complete certainty ERR THANG we had to eat was amazing. We had, raw oysters, steamed clams, conch fritters, ahi tuna, fish tacos and trio platter broiled. It was all BOMB!!!!!! Our server Jazzinme was a really sweet kid and lots of run. The restrooms are out house but they were the cleanest outhouses I've ever been in. We really liked this place and will be back for a multitude of reasons. ”
